FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) is a nationwide student organization focused on preparing high school and college students for careers in business, entrepreneurship, and leadership. Through competitive events, leadership conferences, workshops, and service projects, FBLA gives students a structured way to develop real professional skills while still in school.
At State College Area High School, I am actively involved in FBLA as both a competitor and a student leader. I serve in a regional leadership role and help support our chapter by organizing events, encouraging student participation, and connecting members with opportunities that match their interests. My work in FBLA often overlaps with my interests in technology and AI, especially when it comes to using new tools to improve productivity, communication, and project planning.
Through FBLA I have been able to
- Practice public speaking, collaboration, and project management
- Compete in events that blend business, technology, and problem solving
- Work with advisors and other student leaders to grow our chapter and support younger members
- Build connections with students and professionals who are interested in business, leadership, and innovation
For me, FBLA is not just a club. It is a training ground for leadership, a place to experiment with ideas, and a way to turn classroom knowledge into real world experiences that will carry forward into college, entrepreneurship, and future professional roles.
